About course learning, grades, exams
Undergraduate students:
1. General courses are composed of usual performance+ final exams. Usual performance include but are not limited to attendance, homework, quizzes, etc. The specific proportion is determined by the teacher.
2. Students who are absent from class without reason for more than 1/4 of the total class hours, and who have not handed in homework more than 1/3 of the total number, will be disqualified from the examination.
3. If you are unable to attend class due to illness or other reasons, you must ask for leave. Leave must be approved by the teacher in 207 office (College of International Education).
4. Students who are unable to participate in the exam due to illness or other reasons can apply for a delayed exam in the system. Apply before the exam.
5. if you do not pass the exam, there may be make-up exams at the beginning of next semester, but you must register in the system to participate in the make-up exam.
6. If there is a make-up exam for the course, students who apply for a delayed examination must register for the make-up exam and then participate in the make-up exam at the beginning of the next semester. If there is no make-up exam for the course, students who have applied for a delayed examination may take the final exam in the next year.
7. Not all courses have make-up exams. For example, there are no make-up exams for elective courses, some compulsory courses (such as Chinese courses, course design courses, etc.) without make-up exams. The specific courses with make-up exams will be announced on the website of each college before registration.
8. If the course is a retake, students who fail cannot take the make-up exam and have to retake it again..
9. The reason for failure is disqualification, miss the exam, violation of discipline or Cheating in examination，these students must retake, can not participate in the make-up exam. If you have already taken the exam, your score is invalid..
10. Students who participate in the make-up examination or delayed examination must confirm their participation in the make-up examination through the undergraduate educational administration system within the prescribed time. Failure to confirm or confirm not to participate in the make-up examination is deemed as giving up the make-up examination.

Postgraduate students:
1. If you have actually studied a course, but have not selected the course, you can obtain the score of the course through special score entry. The specific method is to fill in the application form (see attachment：研究生一門課程成績登記表), and after it is signed and stamped by the supervisor and the college office, the college office will send it to 207 Graduate Training Office, main building B.
2. The courses that have passed cannot be studied again.
3. Special attention: Once you have chosen the course and obtained the result after the course, no matter you have passed or failed, the course cannot be withdrawn or deleted from the training plan. It also can't be replaced by another course. You must pass the course in order to graduate.
