International students actively participate in various activities of the People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries
On August 18, the first plenary session of the Third General Assembly of the People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in Changping District, Beijing was held. Zhang Qian, Secretary of the Party Group and Executive Vice President of the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Gan Jingzhong, Secretary of the District Party Committee, attended the meeting. In the work report of the meeting, it was recalled that representatives of international students from China University of Petroleum (Beijing) actively participated in various activities organized by the District Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. During the Winter Olympics, a total of 46 foreign experts and representatives of international students from our school participated in the opening and closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympic Games. The international students of our school actively participated in the activities of "I have a date with the Beijing Winter Olympics" and "Cloud Dialogue of the Beijing Winter Olympics in the eyes of foreigners" held by the Municipal Association of Foreign Friendship, sharing the opinions on attending the ceremony and improving the sense of integration and participation of foreigners in life in Beijing. International students in our school participated in the shooting of four short videos in the "International Scene Classroom of Garbage Classification" and "Foreigners Praise Changping", experienced traditional Chinese medicine bones, tourism and leisure and other special cultural projects, and won the second and third prizes of the "100 Reasons for Falling in Love with Beijing Short Video Competition".
In various activities, international students in our school have actively created a good image of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) through various project cooperation, international activities and other means, responded to the call of the district government, and made positive contributions to Changping District to promote "people's blind date and heart-to-heart communication" at home and abroad.
