Notice of the Annual Review of Chinese Government Scholarship for Year 2023 and CSC Ph.D. students scholarship extension application for Year 2023
Dear CSC scholarship students,
According to the notice of China Scholarship Council, the Annual Review of Chinese Government Scholarship for year 2023 is about to start. The Chinese government scholarship students who will continue to study the next academic year (from September 2023) must complete annual scholarship review on time. For Ph.D. students who are unable to graduate before September 2023 on schedule so that extension will be needed and for students who fail to pass the 2022 scholarship review so that the scholarship is suspended but with the intent for restoration of the scholarship, please complete annual scholarship review on time as well.
一、Review Procedure
Please log in the website studyinChina.csc.edu.cn with CSC number, then entering the Self-Assessment of Chinese Government Scholarshipsection. Next, fill in the School Evaluation Questionnaire for Chinese Government Scholarship and upload additional documents to complete the Self-Assessment. At last, click Submit（附件1.中國政府獎學金生年度評審學生自評操作指南 Appendix 1：CSC Annual Review Operation Guide for Students）.
二、Apply for Scholarship Extension (for Ph.D. students only)
The scholarship for Ph.D. students who are unable to graduate on time and have not applied for scholarship extension before is supposed to be ended on July 2023 based on the Admission Letter. The scholarship extension application procedures are as follows:
1.Please log in the studyinChina.csc.edu.cn with CSC number, then entering the Self-Assessment of Chinese Government Scholarshipsection. Next, fill in the School Evaluation Questionnaire for Chinese Government Scholarship and upload additional documents to complete the Self-Assessment. At last, click Submit（附件1.中國政府獎學金生年度評審學生自評操作指南 Appendix 1：CSC Annual Review Operation Guide for Students）.
2.Please log in the information system again, enter PhD extension application, click the Add button, fill in the relevant information, save and submit.（附件2：中國政府獎學金博士生延期學生申請操作指南 Appendix 2：Application Guidelines for Deferred Doctoral Students of Chinese Government Scholarship）
Please note: You must complete the proposal report stipulated by the school and pass the mid-term assessment before you are eligible for extension applicaiton. In principle, you can only apply scholarship extension once during your study program. And the scholarship extension is not the school extension. And the school extension needs to be applied in advance. The annual review is not scholarship extension, and the scholarship extension needs to be applied separately;
Very Important Note: The deadline for the Annual Review is May 26, 2023. Scholarship qualification of the students who fail to pass the review, or fail to finish the review on time will be terminated on July 15, 2023.
