Notice on the Annual evaluation of China Government Scholarship and the extension of doctoral Application in 2024
Dear students of the Chinese Government Scholarship,
According to the China Scholarship Council, the annual review of the 2024 China Government scholarships will begin soon. Students who pass the annual review can continue to receive the next year's scholarship. Please take it seriously. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
Participants required to participate in the annual review:
1. Chinese Government Scholarship students who will continue to study in the next academic year (from September 2024);
2. Fresh doctoral students who cannot graduate in September 2024 or January 2025 and need to apply for an extension of the study period;
3. Students who fail to pass the scholarship evaluation in 2023 and plan to apply for the scholarship restoration;
Students of the above three categories must participate in the 2024 Annual evaluation of China Government Scholarship.
1. The CSC annual review process
Chinese Government Scholarship Students can log the Chinese Government Scholarship in China through CSC account(https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn), enter the "annual self-assessment of scholarship", fill in the "Chinese Government Scholarship School Assessment Questionnaire", complete the self-assessment information and upload additional materials, and click "submit".
Fill in and submit the annual self-evaluation of the scholarship before 24:00 PM on May 6,2024.
Matters need attention:
1. Students' self-evaluation includes three parts: compliance with rules and regulations, learning situation and participation in activities. Please fill in them carefully. Each part is no more than 1000 words (one English letter is counted as one word). Chinese teaching students must fill in Chinese, English teaching students can fill in English.
2. The review work is completed through the online filling method, without the need to submit paper materials.
3. Students who do not participate in the scholarship without reason within the specified time will be disqualified from the scholarship.

2. CSC PhD Student Extension Application Process (PhD students only)
For doctoral students who have not applied for the extension of the Chinese Government Scholarship and is expected to graduate in July 2024 or January 2025 (subject to the admission letter) and are unable to complete their studies on time and need to extend the extension of the Chinese government Scholarship, please complete the following applications:
1. Please log in to the information system studyinchina through the CSC number first.csc.edu. Cn, enter the "scholarship annual self-assessment", fill in the "Chinese Government Scholarship School evaluation questionnaire", complete the self-assessment information and upload additional materials, and click "submit".
2. Please log in the information system again, enter the "Doctoral Extension Application", click the "New" button, fill in the relevant information and save and submit it;
Fill in and submit the application for doctoral extension before 24:00 PM on May 6,2024.
For Your Attention:
1. To apply for an extension, you should complete the opening report stipulated by the school and pass the mid-term assessment;
2. In principle, you can only apply for one scholarship extension during your study period;
3. The annual review is not a scholarship extension application, and the scholarship extension requires additional application;
4. The scholarship period will be extended for at least one semester and at most one academic year.
Key reminder:
Deadline for annual review and doctoral student extension: 24:00 PM, May 6,2024.
Those who fail to pass the review and fail to complete the review on time will be terminated on July 15,2024.
